Course Syllabus
CBSE Class 9 Syllabus for the academic year 2025-26. We are committed to guiding our students through this pivotal stage, ensuring they grasp essential concepts across all subjects.
Science is a journey through 15 engaging chapters. We begin by exploring the nature of substances in 'Matter in Our Surroundings' and 'Is Matter Around Us Pure'. The mysteries of 'Atoms and Molecules' and the 'Structure of the Atom' are unraveled, laying the groundwork for chemistry. Biology enthusiasts will delve into 'The Fundamental Unit of Life' and 'Tissues', understanding the building blocks of organisms. Physics concepts such as 'Motion', 'Force and Laws of Motion', and 'Gravitation' are introduced, explaining the mechanics of our world. Additionally, topics like 'Why Do We Fall ill?', 'Natural Resources', and 'Improvement in Food Resources' connect science to real-world applications.
Mathematics sharpens analytical skills through topics like the 'Number System' and 'Polynomials'. 'Coordinate Geometry' bridges algebra and geometry, while 'Linear Equations in Two Variables' introduces foundational algebraic structures. Geometric principles are explored in 'Introduction to Euclid’s Geometry', 'Lines and Angles', 'Triangles', 'Quadrilaterals', and 'Circles'. Practical applications come alive in 'Surface Areas and Volumes', and data interpretation skills are honed in 'Statistics' and 'Probability'.
Social Science is a tapestry of history, geography, political science, and economics. In 'India and the Contemporary World – I' (History), students revisit events like 'The French Revolution', 'Socialism in Europe and the Russian Revolution', and 'Nazism and the Rise of Hitler'. 'Contemporary India – I' (Geography) covers the 'Physical Features of India', 'Climate', and 'Natural Vegetation and Wildlife'. English aims to enhance language proficiency through literature and language components. The literature section includes prose from the 'Beehive' textbook, featuring stories like 'The Fun They Had' and 'The Sound of Music', and poems such as 'The Road Not Taken' and 'Wind'. The supplementary reader 'Moments' includes stories like 'The Lost Child' and 'The Adventures of Toto'. The language component focuses on reading comprehension, writing skills—including descriptive paragraphs and diary entries—and grammar topics like tenses, modals, and subject-verb concord.
Our coaching institute is dedicated to making these subjects accessible and engaging, ensuring that each student not only understands the curriculum but also finds joy in learning.
